She was predeceased by: her father Robert L. Buckner; her son Paul Gay (David); and her siblings, Robert Buckner (Bubby) and Patricia Toney. She is survived by: her husband Paul Gay; her daughters, Kimberly Samples (Zack) of Malden and Kelli Haynes of Malden; her brother Larry Buckner (Jake) of Mill Creek; her grandchildren, Zack Samples Jr. of Malden, Danielle Samples, Makayla Walker Henderson (Logan) of Sod and Hanniah Gay of Charleston; and her great grandchildren, Aria, Tyrian, Ellie, Walker and Banks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
