He was predeceased by: his parents, John Young and Annie Young; and his son Leslie Daniel Young II. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Proctor; his daughters, Kimberly Young and Tanya Ammons (JD); his grandchildren, Camille, Aurora, Isaiah and Xavier; his daughter-in-law Jessica; and his siblings, Vernice Calloway of Columbus, OH, Michael Young of Charleston, WV, Melvin, Lorie Young of Clarksville, TN and Glen Young (Joyce) of Raeford, NC.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.

Friends, while wearing masks and observing social distancing, may visit with the family one-hour prior.
