The memory of Lawrence Clay Jennings of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Palmer Jennings and Clara Hazel Saunders Jennings; and his sister Joyce Sue Jennings. He is survived by: his wife Janice Jennings; his children, Lawrence Clay Jennings, Jr. (Katharine), Robert Dean Jennings, John David Jennings (Lisa) and Jennifer Joy Talkington (Lloyd); and his brother William Levi Jennings (Nora). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Long & Fisher Funeral Home (6837 Sissonville Dr, Sissonville, WV 25320). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice Care of CAMC Memorial Hospital.
