He was predeceased by: his wife Vicki Varner; his parents, Glen Varner and Helen Guthrie; his brother Anthony Varner; and his grandson Craig Landers.
He is survived by: his children, Margie Landers (Varner) and Glen Varner; his grandchildren, Scott, Ethan, Kailey and Luke Varner; his great grandchild Brantley Varner; and his siblings, Dock Varner, Evelyn Adkins, Fred Guthrie and Carolyn Wilson.
