He was predeceased by: his daughter Whitney Layne Hart; his stepfather Lionel Chatman; his great-nephew Kahlil Sayles; his uncle Francis Johnson; and his grandmother Luvenia Riley.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Melissa Scott; his parents, Brenda Chatman (Cleotha) and Walter "Buzz" Highsmith; his children, Richard Hendricks, Devin Kuzmeskus and Imani Jones; his siblings, Eric Jones (Georgia) and Kelly Jones; and his uncle Herman Jones (Annie).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the King of Glory International Ministries (302 Delaware Ave, Charleston, WV 25302).
