He is survived by: his wife Sue Stephens of Charleston; his children, Brent Haynes (Leah) of Singapore, Rosa Creech of Cincinnati, OH, Luraine Steinmann of Cincinnati, OH and Shannon Stephens (Lindsay) of Charleston; and his siblings, Bruce Stephens, Beth Bennish and Nellie Thompson. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice Care at 1606 Kanawha Boulevard West, Charleston WV 25387.
