It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Marie Duff of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Kathleen Marie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kathleen Marie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kathleen Marie leaves behind.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Karen Piccone (Roland); her daughter Valerie Lucas (Terry); her granddaughter Amanda Fernandez (Patrick); and her great grandchildren, Preston and Peyton Fernandez.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (1401 Washington St W, Charleston, WV 25387). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens (5233 Rocky Fork Rd, Cross Lanes, WV 25313).
