We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2023, at the age of 74, Karen Lynn Kessler (Charleston, West Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Billy-Jo Woodford (Sayre) and Walter Smith; her grandparents, David and Sophia Smith; her brothers, Gary Smith of West Virginia, Bobby Woodford (Lisa) of Indiana and Joey Woodford (Keely) of Georgia; her children, Chris Rose (Maria) of California, Amy Kidd (late Lee) of West Virginia and Kimberly Rose of West Virginia; her grandchildren, Ryan Rose, Mark Williamson, Morgan Brackenridge, Andrew Bierer, Nicholas Bierer and Kole Kidd; her great grandchildren, Ava Brackenridge, Mylee Williamson, Ben Brackenridge, Kolton Williamson, Charlie Rose and Carrie Brackenridge; and her pets, Teddy and Ellie.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages a kindness be paid forward in concordance with Karen's nature and world view.
