He is survived by: his parents, Matthew Tennsion Nesius of Charleston, WV and Stephanie Joan Nesius of Athens, OH; his sister Lola Grace Nesius; his stepmother Melissa Jean White of Charleston, WV; his grandparents, John, Marie Nesius of Charleston, WV and June Evener; his aunts and uncles, TJ (Angie Nesius), Brian (Markley Hawkins), John (Selina Evener) and Andy Evener; and his cousins, John Joseph Nesius, Lily Nesius, Maggie Pack, Natalie Pack, Landon Hawkins, Hannah Hawkins, Hope Hawkins, Dillon Hawkins, Peyton Evener and Avery Evener.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association.
