She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Carey; her parents, Albert Grass and Myrtle Grass; her siblings, Mae Martin (Joe), Martha Mosier, Elaine Carey (Jack) and Tommy Grass; and her sons, Jeffrey Hammack and Chris Carey.
She is survived by: her sister Paulie; her daughters, Dreama Hammack (Jeff) and Reagan Thompson (Clayton); her grandchildren, Mike Hammack, Shane Hammack (Cynthia), Brandon McClanahan, Michael Thompson, Krissy Stevenson (Scott) and Nikki Atkins (Anthony); her great grandchildren, Michael, Simarah, Chelsea, Kayleigh, Elijah, Lincoln, Lily and Chloe; her great great grandchild Hayes; and her friend Kathy Helton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snodgrass Funeral Home (4122 MacCorkle Ave SW, Charleston, WV 25309). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
