Josephine Carnes Crawford Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Carnes Crawford of Charleston, West Virginia, born in Mount Carbon, West Virginia, who passed away on September 6, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cumberland Davis and Elizabeth Reed Davis; her husband Miles Crawford; and her siblings, William Davis, Carrie Davis, Virginia McPhail and Mae Raines.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Crawford of Sarasota, FL., Elizabeth Dodson (Alan) and Ruby Crawford of Charleston. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is mandated by the Governor and the CDC that proper facial coverings be worn and that social distancing be observed.
