He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi D'Arco and Sylvia Vitello D'Arco; and his brothers, Raymond "Tiny" D'Arco of Charleston and Pat D'Arco of Cleveland, Ohio.. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Richwood and Sam (Mary Vitello DiMeglio); his sister Mary Lou Walker (Sterling); his wife Dorothy Shrewsbury; his son Dr. Sam D'Arco (Ruth D'Arco) of Augusta, Georgia; his stepdaughter Lisa Phillips (David) of Augusta; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Sarah, Hannah and Samuel.
