He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Cunningham, Sr. and Frankie Ann McCormick Cunningham; his brother David Y. Cunningham; and his grandson John Anthony Thomas, II. He is survived by: his wife Terry Hilken Cunningham; his daughter Kimberly Cunningham Deering (Brian); his grandsons, Zach and Cole; his daughter Kelly Cunningham Thomas (Tony); his granddaughter Lainey Belle Thomas; and his siblings, William E. Cunningham (Debbie), Brenda (Jim Rouse) and Barbara (Craig Raynor). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
