He is survived by: his mother Sadie Peyton; his daughter Samantha Peyton; his grandchildren, Josiah Peyton, Aniyah Peyton and Alainah Peyton; his siblings, Patti Baughman (Craig) and Gregory Shaffer (Sandy); and his former wife Carolyn Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
