It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Slade (Charleston, West Virginia), who passed away on January 9, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Slade and Sadie Slade; and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Slade (Jeannie McFarlane) and Leah Harvey (Pierre-Luc); his grandson Jack; his siblings, Helen Pembroke (Pat) and Kevin (Sandy); and his close friends, Elaine, Sara, Mackenzie, Mikayla Oates, Peter, Sandra, Sophia Deering, Priscilla Pike (Babs), Steven Soper and Aretha H. Davidson.
