He was predeceased by: his wife Sally Sparkman Griffith; his daughter Katrina Sizemore; his parents, Joseph Ray and Vaudrey Long Griffith; and his sisters, Brenda Kay Griffith and Annette Walker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynnette Matheny (Doug) of Charleston, Melissa Armstrong (James) of Handley and Samantha Griffith of Marmet; and his grandchildren, Trinity, Isaiah Sizemore, Brittany Armstrong and Doug Matheny III.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens (6027 E Dupont Ave, Glasgow, WV 25086).
