It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joey Allen Slater Jr. (Charleston, West Virginia), who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Patricia Key Slater and Susan Burdette; and his stepsister Cathleen Harper. He is survived by: his parents, Joey Allen Slater, Sr. and Leslie Crouch Barker (Wade Justice) of Charleston; his spouse Johnna Slater; his brother Ryan Craigo; his stepbrothers, Dillon and Jake Lesher; his aunt Terri Brown; and his uncle Scott Burdette. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
