She was predeceased by: her father Charles Cravens; her son Kent; and her siblings, Sammy "Mose" Cravens (Edy), Hugh Cravens (Janice) and Atlee Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Melvin Ballad; her son Michael; her grandson Tyler "Kent" Ballard; and her brother Craigo Cravens (Susan).
