With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Ayer Rodberg of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on December 8, 2024 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Joan Ayer farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joan Ayer is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Calhoun Cemetery (166 Main St, Calhoun, KY 42327). Later in life, she loved playing board games with family and friends, hosting many board game parties over the years (Taboo and Pandemic were her all-time favorites).
