She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Carrow and Fannie Bragg Carrow; her husband William "Bill" Smith; and her brothers, Jack, Harold Carrow and John Paul Carrow.

She is survived by: her sons, Darrell Smith (Camille) of Ravenswood, Jeff Smith (Lori) of Campbells Creek and Randy Smith (Tina) of Campbells Creek; her grandchildren, Jennifer Pitts (Tyler), Matthew Smith, Andrew Smith (Kay) and Brooke Smith (Jacob Kessler); and her great grandchildren, Owen, Bella, Zach, Ben, Gabe and Via.
