It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jewel Venus Atkins of Charleston, West Virginia, born in Birch River, West Virginia, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hall and Cammie Bailey Hall; her husband Arthur L. Atkins; her son Arthur L. "Jack" Atkins Jr.; and her siblings, Mavis Hall, Charlotte Waggoner, Edith Spence and Franklin Hall.

She is survived by: her children, Cammie Wheeler (Wilson) of Charleston and Tony Atkins (Alice) of Teays Valley; and her brother Billy Hall of Avon, OH. She is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
