He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Sarver; his parents, Palmer Sarver and Lucille Parnell Sarver; his sister Jeanie Baker; and his grandparents, Goldie and Hobert Parnell.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry D. Sarver Jr. of Charleston, Larry Wood (Pamela) of Middletown, Virginia, Gail Wood of Sarasota, Donna Bloxman of Tecumseh and Debbie Tackett of South Shore, Kentucky. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
