He was predeceased by: his brother Donald Shamblin; his sister-in-law Vanessa Shamblin; and his nephew Joseph Shamblin, Jr.. He is survived by: his brothers, Joseph Shamblin of Charleston and Roger Shamblin (Trudie) of Ripley; and his nieces and nephews, Brandon, Hunter, Rita and Hannah Shamblin.
