He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Athena Coombs (Rachel); his mother Effie Coombs; his sisters, Beverly Lee (Bill) and Brenda Barrett (Dave); his mother-in-law Helen Sheppard; his siblings-in-law, Beverley Sheppard (David Hollett), David Sheppard (Helena), Richard Sheppard (Glenda), Wendy Sparkes (Bruce) and Tolson Sheppard; his wife Deborah Lynn Coombs; his father Walter Coombs; his brother Grant Coombs; and his father-in-law Lewis Sheppard. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family, friends & co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to St. Peter's Anglican Church, P.O. Box 29, Upper Island Cove, NL A0A 4E0 or to a charity of one's choice.
