It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Maynard Hoff (Charleston, West Virginia), born in Williamson, West Virginia, who passed away on January 5, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thomas Maynard and Stella Crum Maynard; and her husband John David Hoff. She is survived by: her children, Susan Slack of Charleston, WV, Karen E. Hoff of Charlotte, NC, David T. Hoff (Francy) of Charlotte, NC and Douglas T. Hoff (Melodie) of Morehead, KY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is working on a way to honor Jean at her alma mater, Alderson Broaddus.
