In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Janice had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Janice may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Carrier and Mae Carrier; her brother Charles Carrier, Sr.; and her granddaughter Celia Renee Bays. She is survived by: her children, Darrell Bailey, Andrea Rutledge, Dee Rode and Lori Maynor. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hafer Funeral Home (50 N Pinch Rd, Elkview, WV 25071). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Donations can be made to the local Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association, in lieu of flowers.
