He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Hilda B. Walton; his brother Timothy Walton; and his father-in-law Ralph S. Galloway. He is survived by: his wife Melanie; his children, Deidra, Melissa, Janae' and James II; his grandchildren, LaTeef Jr., LaRaun, LaTwaun, Melina, Lee, Jaivyn, Joi'a and Josohn; his sisters, Tanya, Tina, Tracey and Theresa; and his mother-in-law Edna E. Galloway. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
