He was predeceased by: his father Matthew Parsons; his mother-in-law Stella Browning; and his brothers-in-law, Sonny Baisden, Clyde Nelson and Chuck Browning.
He is survived by: his mother Margaret Parsons; his wife Pam Browning Parsons; his children, Shawn of South Charleston and Anna of Safety Harbor, Florida; his grandchildren, Savannah Parsons, Dylan, Kaleb Taylor, Cole, Jake and Noelle Parsons; his siblings, Charlotte, Jessie, Joe (Margie) and Lori (Jerry); and his brother-in-law Steve Browning (Emma). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
