He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his sons, Derek James Hastings (Deeann) of Marmet, WV and James Brandon Hastings (Valerie) of South Charleston, WV; his siblings, John Micheal Hastings (Helen) of Vinton, VA and Lydia "Susie" Wolfe (David) of East Bank, WV; and his granddaughter Mia Hastings (Clay) of Culloden, WV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
