Jackie Jerrell Samples Obituary

Jackie "Jack" Jerrell Samples, 70 of South Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday October 28, 2023 at his home with his family. His long battle with cancer is over.

Born October 6, 1953, he was a son of the late Walter and Bernice Samples.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, Joshua Samples and Joseph Samples; granddaughter, Julie; seven brothers and two sisters and a host of family and friends.

Jack loved to cook and music, entertaining people came naturally to him. He was most comfortable in nature and had a special affinity with cattle, he could watch them for hours. He related the most with animals and children because of their sweet nature. He loved to pass his blessings on to people by gifting them a dozen fresh farm eggs.

He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
