With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Lee Shamblin of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on March 18, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Noreita Ann Payne Shamblin; his parents, Ernest Clyde Shamblin and Myrtle Ore Shamblin; and his sister Rebecca Jane Shamblin Walker. He is survived by: his close friends, Harlan "Skip" Wilson, Larry Roller, Marvin Culpepper, Louie Paterno, Nick Tompkins, Skip Petry and Ron Ellis; his son Jack Shamblin, Jr. (Jay); his sister Mary Kay White (Clayton) of Elkview, WV; and his nieces and nephews, Jama Shamblin, Kristi Rohm, Molli Tinsley, Tim Walker, Greg Walker, Kenny Payne and Matt White.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of South Charleston, Lymphoma Research Foundation, or Hospice Hubbard House.
