She is survived by: her husband Larry Hicks; her son Richard Averson (Michelle); her granddaughter Camilla Averson; her siblings, Stella Hicks of Charleston, Janie Rhodes of Belle, Ronda Stover of Mt. Hope and Ira Stover of Arlington, TX.; her sister-in-law Lola Hodge (Roger) of Salisbury, NC.; her niece Rachel Rhodes of Belle; and her close friends, Terry, Janice Hicks of Charleston and Rhonda Binion of Ohio.
