He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Stanford Bowen Sr. and Ollie Payne Mallory. He is survived by: his wife Lois A. Bowen; his children, Shelley Morales (William), Jeff Bowen (Betsy), Fred Hogan (Joy) and Vicki Hogan (Annette); his grandchildren, Randi Hogan Jones, Dylan Morales and Natalie Cooper (Seth); and his great grandchildren, Carter Jones, Deacon Jones and Emerson Cooper.
A reception was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sissonville High School (6100 Sissonville Dr, Charleston, WV 25320).
