She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Smith and Mamie Shamblin Smith; her husbands, James Arthur and Franklin Arthur; and her sister Jewell Siders (James).

She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Huddleston (Tracy Campbell) of Charleston; her brothers, Joe Smith (Judy) of Poca and John Smith (Tina) of Cross Lanes; her sister-in-law Wanda Arthur of Charleston; her great grandchild Jaxson Steele of Charleston; and her pet Sissy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces.
