He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hudson Abbott; his children, Cindy Bauer (Mike) of Charleston and Michael Abbott (Ellen) of Statesville, NC; his grandchildren, Hilary Stricker (Stewart) of Elkview, Corey Abbott (Whitney) of Charlotte, NC, Garrin Abbott of Charlotte, NC and Chase Bauer (Crystal Walker) of Nitro; his great grandchildren, McKinlee Stricker, Weston and Brooks Abbott; and his stepgreat-grandchild Haleigh Walker.
