He is survived by: his wife Jo Ellen Short; his son Adam Short (Lisa) of Ripley; his sisters, Patsy Seabolt of Rand and Marilyn Tompa of Belle; and his grandchildren, Connor, Abel and Campbell Short. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
