She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Garcia and Rosa Garcia (Richard Sherman) of Alba; her daughter Jennie Marie Sherman; and her siblings, Raymond, Juan and Chepa.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Sherman; her children, Ritchard Sherman (Colleen) of Hadden Township, NJ, Betty Newell (Mike) of Apex, NC and Mary Wall; her grandchildren, Ethan Sherman, Emily Sherman, Adrienne Sherman, Mary, Mimi Knight (Trey), Zachary Newell (Julia) and Genie Wall; her great grandchild Ellie Knight; her niece Maria Teresa Osorio Garcia of Alba; her sister Sister Rosa; and her friend Pat Cochran (Bellaire). She is also survived by other nieces, nephews and cousins.
