She is survived by: her children, Reed Hess (Vicki) and Susan Conner (Jack); her siblings, L. Forrest Akers, Jr. and Nona Akers Wolfe of Charlotte, NC.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Paige Hill (Rex), Eric Conner (Erin) and Stephanie Conner; and her great grandchildren, Serena, Hunter Hill and Princess Missy Timer.
