He is survived by: his wife Vickie of Charleston; his children, Harold Jr. of Utah, Hank, Michael of St. Albans, Mark Slater of Charleston, Travis Fields of Sissonville and Michelle Slater of Tennessee; his siblings, James Slater, Virgie Facemyer, Betty Estep and Linda Ennis; his mother-in-law Linda Fowler; his brother Jimmy Fowler (Mary Ann Fowler); and his nieces and nephews, Sarah and Adam. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons and many great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
