He is survived by: his wife Carmel Barber Porter; his children, Jim Porter (Beth) of Charleston, Shari Shull (Bruce) of Gig Harbor, WA and David Porter of Charleston; and his stepchildren, Don Barber (Debbie) of Stuart, FL, Charles Barber (Beth) of Piedmont, SC, Susan Perry (Doug) of Pearland, TX and John Barber (Gerry) of Panama City, FL.
