He was predeceased by: his father Deryck S. Vickers; his grandparents, Sim, Delphia Vickers, Emit and Inez Stowers; and his uncle Jack Stowers.
He is survived by: his mother Wanda L Vickers (Stowers); his wife Cynthia Ann Vickers (Martin); his son Christopher Mark "Markie" Vickers; his granddaughter Amya Josephine "Josie" Sky Vickers; his siblings, Tim Vickers (Ramona), Renita Vickers (Porter), Sue Whaples (Keith) and Stephanie Burrow; and his close friends, Angelo McCallister and Jim Decker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, plus many of their friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the WVU Cancer Institute.
