Gloria Ann Shirkey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Ann Shirkey of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on February 11, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Francis and Naomi Francis; and her husband Warren M. Shirkey. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy; her grandchildren, Chad and Brittany; her son Warren Jr.; her grandchildren, Zachary and Briana; her son David; and her grandchildren, Madison and Katelyn. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to West Virgina's Imagination Library, encouraging literacy for all West Virginia children through free books. Donations can be made in honor of Gloria online at https://give.marshall.edu.
