It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Sanger (Charleston, West Virginia), born in Oak Hill, West Virginia, who passed away on March 3, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lace Sanger and Murl Sanger; his wife Ouida; his brothers, Carl Sanger and Jack Sanger; and his son-in-law Boyd Ruff.
He is survived by: his brother Bob Sanger (Nancy) of Oak Hill; his daughters, Barbara Miller (Dick) of West Jefferson and Deborah Ruff (Tom Saunders) of Athens; his grandchildren, Ryan Miller (Jennifer) of Boiling Springs, SC, Erin Shepherd (Warren) of West Jefferson, NC, Hank Ruff (Kedra) of Nashville, TN and Elizabeth Ruff of Nashville, TN; and his great grandchildren, Riley Miller of Boiling Springs, SC, Graydon Shepherd of West Jefferson, NC, Penelope Ruff of Nashville, TN and Caden Peeler of Boiling Springs, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
