He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Helen Gibson; his parents, George Gibson and Zola Gibson; and his brothers, Teddy and Roy Gibson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rosetta Gibson, Charles, James "Mike", David and Riley Gibson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
