With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Garland Guthrie (Charleston, West Virginia), who passed away on November 15, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father George Nye Guthrie. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sister Ann Brown of Dayton; his niece Georgianne Lowman (Eric); his great-nieces, Ava and Adeline of Centerville; his niece Lauren Hartings (Joe); his cousins, Mackenzie and Keith II of Malvern, NY; his caregivers, George, Melinda Boggess, Betty Coleman, Aaron Johnson and Sean Johnson; and also, Jocelyn of Gahanna, Ohio and Elicia Corbett (Keith).
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care, the Kanawha Valley Fellowship Home, the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association or West Virginia Public Broadcasting.
