He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stewart and Anna Stewart; and his siblings, Jim, Bob, Jack Stewart, Catherine Buck, Anna Lee Houck and Jean Bright.

He is survived by: his child Pop; his wife Mary Smith Stewart; his daughter Kim Stewart Priddy; his son-in-law Fred Priddy; his brother-in-law Billy Smith; and his siblings, Audrey Smith, Patty Keeney and Ronnie Stewart. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
