He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Gary (Crystal) and Heather Brown (Ray); his stepchildren, Jeannine Chandler and Fred Chandler IV (Kelli); his grandsons, Tyler Mullins and Corey Alford; his stepgrandsons, Ethan Chandler and Elliott Chandler; his great grandchildren, Molleigh Chappel and Braxton Sweeney; his brother Jack Alford (Barbara); and his pets, Radar and Hershey.
