It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gale Homer Mabe (Charleston, West Virginia), who passed away on July 30, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Allie Armstrong; and his siblings, Tommie C. Mabe and Virginia McIntosh. He is survived by: his wife Muriel; his children, Charles (Bernadette) of South Charleston, Mary Gale Roberts of Knoxville, TN and Catherine of South Charleston; his grandchildren, Victoria, Joshua Mabe, Dr. Jennifer Woodbury (Lee) of Columbus, GA and Christina Kitts (Sean) of Knoxville, TN; and his great grandchildren, Anna Marie, Ian, Claire and Myles. He is also survived by friends and passing out dog treats for the dogs.
However, due to the Covid-19 virus and for the safety of family and friends only a small service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Snodgrass Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Mateer officiating.
