With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freda Mowrer (Charleston, West Virginia), who passed away on February 10, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Mowrer, Jr.; her parents, Howard Bumgardner and Flossie Bumgardner; and her siblings, Charles "Webb" Bumgardner, Pauline Bumgardner, Mary Jones, Gladys Koontz and Catherine Boggess.
She is survived by: her siblings, Robert "Bob" Bumgardner, Raymond Bumgardner (Mary Kay) and Helen Lanham; her children, Barbara Smithers (Jay), Bruce Mowrer (Tammy), Carrie Darby (Cody), Jill Straight (Scott), Seth Smithers (Krystal), Megan Mowrer, Jarrett Mowrer, Kenneth Mowrer, Kayana Mowrer, Colten Darby, Charli Darby, Dylan Straight, Rylan Smithers, Kaelyn Smithers and Sanford Shaffer (Gloria); and her close friend Ann Taylor.
