He was predeceased by: his parents, Cary J. Lilly and Esta Harrison Lilly; and his brothers, Aubrey, Joseph, Ray, James, Douglas and Marlin.

He is survived by: his siblings, Orville Lilly of Sissonville, Eleanor Nickell (Paul) of Cross Lanes, Joretta Bailes (David) of Sissonville, Loretta Evans of Charleston and Lenora Vanater of Vero Beach, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
